- FOUNDER & HEAD TRAINER -

JESSE ARMITSTEAD

Coach Jesse founded ICE basketball in 2022 to help players reach another level of skill and achieve their dreams.
He grew up in Layton, Utah and played varsity basketball at Northridge High School, winning a region championship and making a quarterfinals appearance. After serving a 2 year church mission, Jesse played at Wenatchee Valley College in Washington State, where he shot a career 100% from the free throw line. He moved back to Utah to get married and continue his education. He spent 4 years as a trainer for another local company, but then decided to go out on his own and start ICE Basketball. In just a few short years, Jesse has worked with and helped develop the 3A MVP, 4 All-State players, 8 All-region players, and helped 3 players reach the college level (with 5 more with offers to play after graduating!)

- PLAYER DEVELOPMENT AND SKILLS TRAINER -

JOSEPH ELLIOTT

Coach Joe is the newest addition to ICE Basketball and has one of the best basketball stories out there. After getting cut in 9th Grade, Joe didn't play any high school basketball. After graduating, Joe decided to pursue his dream of playing college basketball. He worked his butt off and eventually got an offer to go play at Wenatchee Valley college in Washington State. A few years later, Joe is back in Utah and sharing his story and his knowledge with the athletes at ICE Basketball. He is also pursuing a sports management degree at Westminster College in Fall 2024.
